We’ve spent ages trying to find a better word for what we do than “academy.” Not that it’s a bad word, but it reminds us of that neighborhood academy on the corner run by Mrs. Carmen. And nope, that’s not us. No shade to Mrs. Carmen—thanks to her, plenty of people have passed their exams—but that’s not our vibe. Alice & Bob was born out of frustration. We were tired of seeing the same old courses everywhere. Tired of never finding the kind of training we would have loved to take. Because let’s be real—either you waste countless hours watching YouTube videos that end up falling short, or you fork out a small fortune for a master’s degree you’re not even sure will be useful. Our mantra is simple: Studying isn’t the same as learning. You don’t need to waste 50 hours on a course you could’ve finished in 10. You don’t need to watch 100 videos to learn something you could’ve nailed in 1. That’s why we created Alice & Bob. Because we love teaching. Because we love making a living out of it. And because we believe training doesn’t have to be boring—it can be different.
